StreamPort uses Bluetooth wireless technology and there can be limitations regarding the reception distance, normally up to 10 / 12 metres, however, if there are obsticles in the way (i.e. walls etc) this distance is shorter, in addition, the output level of the transmitting device can vary depending on the age / type of device used (laptop / phone etc).
No, you can only connect (paired with) to one dock at a time using your Bluetooth StreamPort. If you purchased two docks and 2 StreamPorts you could still only connect to one dock at a time from the playing device (iPhone / iPod).
Yes, as long as it has compatibe input connections, RCA (Phone sockets) or a 3.5mm jack input, (larger jack input will requre an additional 3.5mm adaptor jack to convert to 6.35mm)
